Handmade Pottery
Inspired By Nature
Small-batch stoneware, thoughtfully made by hand and inspired by the beauty of the natural world.
Mountains, wildlife, desert landscapes, and quiet outdoor moments — interpreted by hand, one piece at a time.
Nature, Reflected in Clay
Made by Hand in Arizona
I’m Lisa, the maker behind Southpaw Ceramics, a small pottery studio in Arizona. I began working with clay a few years ago and quickly developed a passion for creating pieces that are both useful and a little unexpected. Much of my inspiration comes from the landscapes and wildlife I love—from desert plants and birds to forests and mountains.
Each piece is made in small batches with intention and finished by hand, so no two are exactly alike. My work reflects the varied terrain and textures of the places that inspire me, with earthy neutrals, rich surfaces, and warm tones. I especially love making mugs and functional pottery that bring a bit of the outdoors into everyday use and special moments.
